We look before we price
No estimates over the phone. One of us drives out, walks the property, and puts a number together afterward based on what is actually there.
Two owners, real equipment, and a straightforward way of doing business.

We're Luke Atchison and Grady Harris, the owners of H&A Landworks. Before we ever went into business together, we'd already known each other for years through team roping and shared a similar background working around heavy equipment and dirt work. Eventually, the opportunity came along to take that experience and build something of our own, and that's how H&A Landworks got its start.
Between the two of us, we've spent years gaining hands-on experience with land clearing, mulching, driveway construction, and site preparation. We decided to take the work we already knew and enjoyed and turn it into a business of our own.
While our company may be newer, the work itself isn't new to us. We take pride in doing quality work, paying attention to the details, and treating every property like it's our own.
Whether we're clearing land, building a driveway, preparing a pad, or helping bring a new idea for your property to life, you'll be working directly with us from start to finish.
Built to clear. Ready to create.
No estimates over the phone. One of us drives out, walks the property, and puts a number together afterward based on what is actually there.
Same-day response to calls, texts, and form submissions. Nobody should have to chase a contractor to give them money.
If the work is bigger than you expected, or smaller, or the fix is drainage rather than what you called about, that is what you will hear from us.
A lot of this trade runs on chasing every job that gets posted. We would rather do fewer jobs properly and be the company somebody calls back.
We own a skid steer, a trackhoe, a mini excavator, and a dozer with laser grade control, and we rent in whatever a job needs beyond that, up to and including larger mulching equipment. Being a two-person operation has not been a limit on what we can put on the ground. It just means the people you talked to are the people who show up. The business is insured, and if you need proof of coverage before work starts, ask and we will get it over to you.
Our main work is forestry mulching, brush clearing, gravel driveways, and excavation. Alongside those we handle stump removal, land leveling and grading, pond digging and pond repair, and general dozer work. A lot of that comes up on properties we are already working, and it is usually cheaper and simpler to handle it while the equipment is there.
We work residential, commercial, and agricultural property across Central Arkansas from our base in Vilonia. If you have ground that needs something done to it, the first step is the same either way. Call, text, or send the form, and one of us will come look at it.
Overgrown acreage, a driveway that keeps washing out, or ground that needs to be ready for something else. Send us the details and we will come look at it.
